Location: Toronto ON- Minimum 3 days in the Office

Describe your department – size, structure, team culture: The Operational Risk Shared Services – Strategy & Systems Team is part of the broader Operational Risk Technology team in Group Risk Management (GRM). The team collaborates between technology and business teams to ensure the applications being developed can support the various business functions within Group Risk Management.
Daily Responsibilities:
This Senior Application User Acceptance Test Specialist role involves testing a Group Risk Management application across the Enterprise. The successful candidate will perform the following:
• Translating business requirements into test cases and executing them in the testing environment.
• Running manual tests to identify defects, document results, and publish findings to SharePoint.
• Communicating bugs to the team, walk through test scenarios with colleagues to validate coverage, and collaborate with the Operational Risk Management and IT teams to resolve issues.
• Maintaining consistent communication with project and business teams while ensuring tests cover all essential functionalities and business objectives.
Project Name(s), if applicable: The project focus on developing a unified issue management system to centrally manage issues within the organization.

• Archer (Governance, Risk, and Compliance)
• Advanced proficiency in SQL
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Sharepoint
Must-have Skills/Experiences and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in user acceptance testing, quality assurance, or a related field. Experience in senior or lead roles is preferred.
• Proven ability to identify data inconsistencies, gaps, and compatibility issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in testing and documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
• Strong data analytical skills and experience with SQL to identify gaps in data migration process
Nice-to-have Skills/Experience and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations:
• Strong working knowledge of Operational Risk Management concepts and processes
• Experience with operating in an Agile environment
• Experience with Python Scripting
