ABOUT THE POSITION As a Senior Android Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing a next-generation mobile ecosystem, focusing on technical excellence and innovative architecture for a high-impact consumer application. This role empowers you to steer critical decision-making and implement scalable design systems that enhance user experience. You will work alongside distinguished experts to merge modern reactive development with robust integration strategies in a culture that champions technical consensus and rapid professional growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Adhere to established architectural patterns while integrating best practices in new Android implementations;Lead technical decision-making within your team concerning mobile architecture and integration strategies;Collaborate with Distinguished Engineers to ensure mobile implementation aligns with technical standards;Oversee the implementation of design systems across the Android codebase.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field;5+ years of Android development experience, focusing on large-scale consumer applications;Proficiency in Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow, and Jetpack Compose;Deep understanding of architecture and design principles, including experience with patterns such as MVI/MVVM;Experience with Dependency Injection (DI) tools like Hilt or Koin;Ability to translate high-fidelity designs into native code;Proficient in mobile-backend integration strategies, particularly REST API integration;Experience in writing and maintaining extensive unit and UI test suites, emphasizing automation;Demonstrated capacity to foster technical consensus and mentor junior engineers;Proven ability to deliver results with minimal ramp-up time;Familiarity with AI tools, such as Claude Code;Upper-intermediate English proficiency.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) design pattern;Prior experience migrating mobile architectures to modular setups;Experience with legacy systems and tools, including RxJava, to integrate modern and existing application code.WHAT WE OFFER Professional development: Access to mentorship, TechTalks, and personalized growth pathways.Competitive salary: USD-based compensation with budgets for education, fitness, and team activities.Engaging projects: Opportunities to work with Fortune 500 and leading product companies.Flexibility: Enjoy a flexible schedule with options for remote or office work.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US (i.e., Green Card holders, TN visa holders, GC EAD, H4 EAD, U4U with EAD).
