APEING is building next-generation on-chain trading infrastructure across perps, prediction markets, and high-velocity crypto assets. Our focus is not dashboards or wrappers — we’re building execution-grade intelligence systems that operate continuously on-chain.
This role is for engineers who have already built, trained, and deployed real trading or decision-making systems, not theory, not demos.
We’re looking for a Senior AI / Agentic Trading Engineer who has hands-on experience building autonomous or semi-autonomous trading systems that operate in live environments.
You will design, train, and deploy agentic systems that:
• Process on-chain + off-chain data in real time
• Model market structure, sentiment, and regime shifts
• Make and execute trading decisions continuously
• Operate safely under constraints, risk rules, and capital limits
This is a core product role, not a research or support role.
What You’ll Work On
• Agentic trading systems operating across perps, spot, and prediction markets
• ML models for market state detection, signal generation, and execution timing
• Real-time data pipelines (on-chain data, order flow, sentiment, events)
• Strategy orchestration, risk constraints, and execution control
• Continuous training, evaluation, and live feedback loops
• Research and integration of latest advances in AI + DeFi
Key Responsibilities
• Design and deploy production-grade agentic trading systems
• Build and train ML models that operate on real market data
• Implement decision-making loops that run continuously
• Own performance metrics, drawdown control, and failure modes
• Work closely with backend + infra teams to ensure reliability
• Improve models based on real trading outcomes (not backtests only)
• Research and apply cutting-edge techniques where they provide real edge
What We’re Looking For (Non-Negotiable)
You must have:
• Proven experience building live trading systems or autonomous agents
• Experience deploying ML models into production, not just notebooks
• Strong understanding of market microstructure and execution
• Ability to reason about risk, failure modes, and adversarial conditions
• Fluency in Python + at least one systems/backend language (Go, Rust, etc.)
• Comfort working with blockchain data and on-chain execution
If you’ve never shipped a system that traded real capital, this role is not a fit.
Strong Plus
• Experience with crypto trading systems or DeFi protocols
• Experience with reinforcement learning, online learning, or control systems
• Experience integrating ML systems with low-latency execution
• Prior work on agentic frameworks or autonomous decision systems
• Background in quantitative trading or applied ML at scale
