Hours: Continental Rotation (0700-1900/1900-0700hrs)
Pay Rate: $24.54/hr. - $26.99/hr. "based on the levelling system"
Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Job Description:
• Provides leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training
• Ensures all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shift
• Ensures site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and site security policies and procedures
• Plans and implements shift work schedules
• Ensures all Security Guards have received the mandatory training
• Motivates staff and issues commendations
• Disciplines staff when necessary and ensures proper documentation is passed onto head office
• Attendance Management
• Performs security audits
• Documents and investigates security incidents and complaints
• Provide proactive and reactive security patrols.
• Communicates any concerns/issues with Client Service Manager
Requirements:
• A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• A Valid Standard First AID CPR C Certificate (From a WSIB Approved Organization)
• Proof of up to date immunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella and two step Tuberculosis skin test
• Covid Vaccine two doses
• Must be willing to complete N95 Mask fit testing during the training
• Vulnerable Sector Check
• English (oral and written) fluency is a must
• At least one year of security experience in a team lead role
• Minimum two year of security experience in healthcare environment
• Post-Secondary education in a law enforcement/security program from a recognized college
• Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
• Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
• Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
Please be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability.
