This new position is open to UAE Nationals only and the purpose of the role will be to supervise and coordinate the daily security operations within the freezone. You will ensure the safety and protection of employees, members, visitors, assets, and premises. The role ensures compliance with applicable regulations, organizational policies, and international security standards, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks, managing security staff, and maintaining a secure environment for all stakeholders. Key Responsibilities and Duties: SuperviseSecurityStaff:Lead,manage,andschedulesecuritypersonnelto ensure24/7coverageacrossthe freezonepremises AccessControlManagement:Overseetheimplementationofaccesscontrol systems. EnsureeffectiveoperationofCCTV,alarmsystems,X- rayscanners,andothersecurityequipment;reportandactpromptlyonany faults or breaches. Coordinateresponsetosecurityincidents, includingbreaches,thefts,oremergencies;conductpreliminaryinvestigations and prepare reports for senior management. Conduct RiskAssessment& Mitigation via regularsecurityriskassessments, identifyvulnerabilities,andimplementpreventivemeasuresinlinewith organizationalpoliciesandregulatoryrequirements. Liaisewithlawenforcement,civildefense,and otherrelevantauthoritiesasneededforsecuritymatters,ensuringcompliance with UAE regulations. Training & Awareness of securityanddrillsforstaff,members, andcontractors,includingevacuationprocedures,emergencyresponse,and safety awareness programs. Adhere to allsecurityoperationspolicies, ISO standards, and government regulations; maintain accurate logs, reports, and records. Overseesecurityarrangementsduringevents, conferences,andvisitsbydignitariesorinternationalagencyrepresentativesto ensure smooth operations. Qualifications and Experience: This position is open to UAE Nationals only. Bachelor’sdegreeinSecurityManagement,Criminal Justice,LawEnforcement,orarelatedfield. RelevantsecuritycertificationssuchasCertifiedProtection Professional(CPP),PhysicalSecurityProfessional(PSP),orUAE-specificsecurity licenses are highly desirable. Minimum5yearsofexperienceinsecurityoperations, withatleast2yearsinasupervisoryorleadershiprole,preferablyinacorporate, government,orfreezoneenvironment. Strongunderstandingofsecuritysystems(CCTV,access control,alarmsystems,X-rayscanners),emergencyresponseprocedures,and UAE regulatory compliance. UnderstandingofUAElaws, regulations,andorganizationalpoliciesrelevanttosecurityoperations. Abilitytosupervise,motivate,anddevelop securitystafftoensureefficientoperations. Stronganalyticalskillstoidentifysecurity vulnerabilitiesandimplementeffectivemitigationmeasures. KnowledgeofSecuritySystems including CCTV,accesscontrol,alarm systems, and other modern security technologies. Capableofleadingresponseefforts during emergencies, incidents, or evacuations. Excellentverbalandwrittencommunication skillsforliaisingwithmanagement,tenants,andexternalauthorities. Keenobservationskillstomonitoractivitiesanddetect unusual or suspicious behavior.
