Job Title: Security Professional – Corporate (Part Time) Location: Mississauga, ON Employment Type: Part -Time Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour Shift: Monday to Tuesday | Day Shift Monday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Tuesday 11:00AM – 7:00PM Overview Allied Universal® is seeking experienced Security Professional – Corporate (Part Time) to support a corporate environment in Mississauga, ON. This role is a front desk position that involves responding to service calls and acting as a first responder during security and life‑safety incidents. Candidates must demonstrate sound decision‑making, possess strong computer, customer service and administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Responsibilities • Maintain a professional security presence at reception/front desk • Perform access control for employees, visitors, and contractors • Verify identification, credentials, and site authorization • Register and log visitors using computer-based systems • Monitor contractor activity and ensure compliance with site protocols • Escort contractors and guests within designated areas • Respond to inquiries and provide customer-service support • Handle phone calls, emails, and reception communications • Document incidents, irregularities, and daily activities • Follow site SOPs, post orders, and client-specific procedures • Maintain situational awareness and report security concerns • Uphold confidentiality and professional conduct in a corporate environment Key Qualifications • Corporate or front desk security experience • Experience with access control or visitor management systems • Contractor monitoring or escort experience • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and basic Excel/data entry • Incident report writing experience Minimum Qualifications • Valid Ontario Security Guard License • Minimum 2 years’ experience in reception and/or security role • First Aid & CPR Certification • Must be 18 years of age or older • Minimum 2 years’ experience in reception and/or security role • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience) • Legally eligible to work in Canada (up to 40 hours per week) • Strong verbal and written English communication skills • Basic to intermediate computer proficiency • Professional customer-service demeanor Benefit • Career growth and advancement opportunities within Allied Universal® • Paid training and professional development • Supportive leadership and structured site protocols Disclaimer As part of Allied Universal’s standard hiring process, all candidates must successfully complete a background check, which may include criminal history, employment verification, education verification, and reference checks.
