Your proactive approach to security, quick decision-making skills, and ability to handle diverse situations will be instrumental in preventing incidents and maintaining order. This role requires a responsible and alert individual who can effectively enforce security protocols and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities: • Monitor and patrol the premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized activities. • Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe and orderly environment. • Respond promptly to security alarms and incidents, taking appropriate actions as required. • Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activities or security breaches. • Control access to restricted areas, checking identification and permits as necessary. • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees with a courteous and helpful attitude. • Conduct bag and package inspections to prevent theft and unauthorized items from entering the premises. • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response teams when necessary. • Handle conflicts or disruptive behavior among visitors or staff, de-escalating situations whenever possible. • Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security activities and incidents. • Assist in emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures. • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address security vulnerabilities. • Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter potential security threats. • Handle any other security-related tasks or projects as assigned by supervisors. Qualifications and Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent qualification. • Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar security role is preferred but not mandatory. • Security training or certifications are advantageous. • Strong observation and surveillance skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills in English (both spoken and written). • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and handle stressful situations professionally. • Familiarity with security equipment, such as surveillance cameras and access control systems. • Physical fitness to conduct regular patrols and stand for extended periods. • UAE residency or work permit is required for local applicants; visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
