Role Purpose
Own the overall security posture of the BNPL platform, ensuring protection of customer data, secure cloud operations, and compliance with Qatar Central Bank (QCB) regulatory requirements in a fintech context.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and implement the company’s information and cloud security architecture
• Own identity and access management, encryption, secrets, and key management
• Lead compliance with QCB cybersecurity requirements and relevant standards
• Conduct security risk assessments and threat modelling
• Manage security incidents, investigations, and remediation activities
• Perform vendor and third-party security assessments
• Support internal and external audits, including regulatory reviews
• Drive security awareness and secure development practices across teams
Skills
Required Experience
• 7+ years of experience in information security or cybersecurity
• Mandatory experience in a fintech or product-based technology company
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud security (GCP / AWS / Azure)
• Experience with IAM, SIEM, WAF, and endpoint security tools
• Prior experience supporting audits or regulator interactions
• Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are a plus
