MOHCD is looking for an experienced affordable housing professional to implement its below market rate homeownership programs and rental affordable housing lotteries and lottery programs. Under immediate supervision, the incumbent performs journey level duties in monitoring and evaluating community development, housing and/or housing development, finance programs. The essential functions include: providing technical assistance to those seeking housing and partner organizations and their agents; reviewing and providing recommendations on affordable housing applications; assistance in development of homeownership and lottery preference programs; updating the City website in the areas of homeownership programs. The Community Development Specialist also performs related duties as required.
