The role of a Scrum master is a pivotal role in guiding Agile teams to deliver high-quality, business-critical products. Your responsibilities will include facilitating Agile ceremonies, identifying and removing impediments, and coaching both the team and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices. You will be instrumental in cultivating a culture of continuous improvement, empowering teams, and fostering seamless cross-functional collaboration.
Agile Facilitation:Guide and support Agile teams by facilitating Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and RetrospectivesImpediment Removal:Identify, track, and eliminate blockers to team progress through problem-solving and escalationPartner with leadership and functional groups to resolve dependencies and constraintsTeam Coaching:Coach team members and product managers on Agile principles, practices, and frameworksFoster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning with the teamOrganize and conduct training sessions to enhance team members’ skills in Agile methodologiesDelivery Oversight:Ensure teams are delivering work in alignment with sprint goals and release timelinesUse Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time) to provide insight into team performance and opportunities for improvementSupport the team and stakeholders in adapting to changes in project scope or directionStakeholder Communication:Act as a bridge between product managers, developers, QA, and stakeholdersProvide clear and consistent updates on team progress, risks, and delivery commitmentsAgile Maturity & Continuous Improvement:Promote and support the adoption of Agile best practices across teams and departmentsLead retrospectives and drive actionable outcomes that enhance team efficiency and moraleQualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor's degreeBusiness Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or related field4+ years in technology development roles (BA, Release management etc..)Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworksExperience working with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOpsExcellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skillsAbility to lead by example, demonstrating strong servant leadership and a focus on team empowermentExperience working in a collaborative, cross-functional Agile environment, with a strong focus on delivering valueAbility to manage and resolve conflict effectively, keeping the team focused on achieving sprint goalsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple teams or projects concurrentlyMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Master's degreeAgile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or SAFe Agilist (SA) highly desirableExperience as a scrum master, agile coach, or in a similar role within an Agile environment Experience in an environment involving DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud-based application deliveryFamiliarity with Agile frameworksExposure to Agile transformations and change managementBackground in software development or technical project delivery is a plus
The base pay range for this role is $109,820.00 to $142,936.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
