Position Overview
As the Associate Software Developer in Houston, Texas for ENGIE’s North America Global Energy Management & Supply (GEMS) Group, you will work alongside a software development team to design and develop web and cloud-based applications using the Microsoft .NET framework and Azure platform. Reporting daily to the Director of Solutions Development, you will help drive digital transformation by implementing redesigned systems and processes with the latest technology.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the development team to design and develop robust web and cloud-based applications using the Microsoft .NET framework and Azure platform.
• Assist the Director of Solutions Development in driving system transformation initiatives using modern digital technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot application issues, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience (minimum of 4 years in lieu of a four-year degree).
• At least two (2) years of professional experience with C# and .NET frameworks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure services (including Azure App Services, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and effectively troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to coordinate with product owners, architects, and system owners during testing of new features.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and be willing to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies.

• Compensation: Salary Range: $74,500 – $114,195 USD annually with eligibility for a competitive bonus/incentive plan.
