Job Description Salesforce Technical Architect (Contract-to-Hire) Location: Hybrid – San Francisco, CA (3–4 days onsite) Contract Type: 3-Month Contract-to-Hire Hourly Rate: $95–$110/hour Overview Our client is seeking a hands-on Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the optimization and scaling of a lean, bare-bones Salesforce instance within a B2B SaaS environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys building from the ground up, working closely with a small team, and owning both architecture and development. This role requires someone who can design, build, and optimize — not just document. Responsibilities • Serve as the hands-on Technical Architect for Salesforce, owning solution design and development • Optimize and scale a minimal Salesforce org, improving data model, automation, and overall architecture • Lead Lead-to-Cash design and implementation, including opportunity management, quoting, and revenue workflows • Design and support CPQ solutions (experience with Conga or similar CPQ platforms ) • Develop custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative automation • Partner with internal teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions • Ensure Salesforce best practices around performance, security, and governor limits • Support deployments, releases, and ongoing system improvements Required Qualifications • 8+ years of Salesforce experience, including Technical Architect or Lead Developer responsibilities • Strong hands-on development expertise in Apex, LWC, JavaScript, and Salesforce APIs • Proven experience in B2B SaaS environments • Deep understanding of Lead-to-Cash processes • Experience with CPQ solutions (Conga ; others acceptable) • Strong Salesforce data modeling and security architecture knowledge • Ability to work independently and own solutions end-to-end • Comfortable working 3–4 days onsite in San Francisco Nice to Have • Background in optimizing early-stage or underbuilt Salesforce orgs • Experience in high-growth or startup environments • Exposure to subscription billing or RevOps tooling • Salesforce Platform Developer I / II or Architecture certifications Why This Role • Competitive $95–$110/hr contract rate with conversion potential • High ownership and visibility in a small team • Opportunity to shape Salesforce architecture from the ground up • Hybrid onsite flexibility in San Francisco If you are interested in applying for this job please press the Apply Button and follow the application process.
