Salesforce Technical Architect – Data Cloud
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Rate: Up to $120 an hour
Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect with deep Data Cloud expertise to design, implement, and scale a modern Salesforce data architecture. This role will focus on data ingestion, identity resolution, integrations, and real-time activation across Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect and lead Salesforce Data Cloud implementations, including data ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, and segmentation
• Design and oversee complex integration architectures using Salesforce APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven patterns
• Enable real-time data activation across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
• Define Salesforce data models, governance frameworks, and performance optimization strategies
• Lead hands-on development efforts using Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and advanced automation
• Establish and enforce technical standards, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment governance
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers and engineers
• Partner with data, marketing, and operations teams to align data strategy with business outcomes
Requirements
• 8+ years of Salesforce technical experience, including architect-level responsibilities
• Proven hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data Cloud
• Strong expertise in Apex architecture, integrations, and performance tuning
• Experience with CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and release management
• Strong understanding of data platforms, identity management, and analytics enablement
• Salesforce Technical Architect or advanced developer certifications preferred
