Job Title: UI Technical Architect
Duration: 12 Months Contract (With possibility of extension or hire)
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• In this role, you will need to understand latest trends, micro trends and will be taking important architecture decisions.
• The person will understand the integrations and the technology associated with it.
• The new app will have to integrate with different vendors and media portals.
• You will need to lead POCs, define architecture and will be a core and important member in the decision making.
• Also having experience of designing, implementing, and maintaining UI the infrastructure and systems that enable the delivery of streaming content, including video, audio, and other data streams, to users in a reliable and scalable manner.
• This involves a range of technical considerations, from content encoding and packaging to network delivery and user experience.
• Part of a team that designs, develops, and launches efficient quality systems and solutions supporting core organizational functions.
• This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues, opportunities, or problems to improve the benefit of IT and Business investments.
• The Developer is experienced and self-sufficient in performing their responsibilities, requiring minimal Supervision but general guidance and direction.
Experience:
• Lead the design, development, and planning for the software architecture for the Web platform.
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
• Perform code reviews and mentor your peers.
• Serve as an integral member of the development team to create practical solutions in an Agile/DevOps environment.
• Ensure consistency with an established software development architecture.
• Analyze and interpret requirements from the Business and UX Design Team.
• Introduce new technologies and standard processes as needed to solve business problems.
• Help to fix, test, and maintain the quality and security of the platform.
• Work in an Agile environment.
• Designing the Streaming Architecture.
• Content Encoding and Packaging.
• Content Delivery Network (CDN) Management.
Skills:
• Streaming technology experience.
• 5+ years of experience in application design, development, installation, and modification of web applications.
• 5+ years of experience in developing in JavaScript with React JS v16 & 17, Redux, Webpack and ES6 or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of development methodologies, software design, design patterns, and integration standards, as well as their applicability in coding and testing cycles.
• Advanced knowledge of software engineering standard processes such as versioning and versioning control, software packaging, and software release management using GitHub.
• Effective Communication (verbal + written).
• Excel at triage or analysis of situations for production support.
• Proficient with on-time delivery with minimal Supervision.
• OOO Experience.
• HTML, Java Script, CSS.
• Git/GitHub Code Repositories.
• TeamCity or equivalent Configuration tools.
• Dev Ops Experience using AWS tools.
• Cloud technologies AWS, including Akamai CDN.
• UI Analytics (Google Analytics, Quantum Metrics).
• App Performing Tools including Dynatrace.
Education:
• Technical bachelor’s degree with related work experience.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
