We’re partnering with a global investment management firm to identify an experienced Sr. Cloud Engineer. This role will drive the design, governance, and evolution of the firm’s Microsoft Azure cloud environment in a highly regulated financial context.
The Opportunity
You will collaborate closely with cloud architecture, security, and operations teams to implement modern Azure standards, migrate workloads, and advance automation, observability, and FinOps practices across the environment. You’ll play a hands-on role in designing secure, scalable cloud solutions that power global business operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement Azure architectural patterns and governance standards
• Lead workload migration and automation initiatives using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
• Enhance observability through logging, metrics, and tracing integrations
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to enforce policies and controls
• Drive FinOps and cost optimization efforts with finance and operations partners
• Develop documentation, templates, and playbooks for repeatable deployments
What We’re Looking For
• 6–8 years of hands-on cloud engineering experience focused on Microsoft Azure
• Financial services or regulated industry background preferred
• Proficiency in Terraform, ARM, and CI/CD tooling
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, identity management, and security
• Familiar with FinOps and observability platforms
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (required)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator (preferred)
