About the Role
An established professional services organization is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to support and evolve enterprise systems used for intake, compliance, and other workflow-driven business processes.
This is a hands-on, senior-level role that also requires close partnership with business and operational stakeholders. The successful candidate will help ensure critical systems are reliable, well-integrated, and aligned with evolving needs.
Candidates must be based in or willing to work in New York, NY if the role transitions to hybrid or onsite.
What You'll Do
• Own and support enterprise applications used for workflow-driven business processes
• Configure and enhance forms, workflows, and routing logic
• Partner with business and compliance stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Support integrations between systems, including APIs, file-based integrations, and database connections
• Participate in application upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing platform improvements
• Support cloud or SaaS-based platforms, including modernization initiatives
• Maintain clear technical and support documentation
• Contribute to change management, incident response, and quality assurance efforts
What Were Looking For
• 8+ years of overall IT experience
• 6+ years supporting enterprise applications or platforms
• Experience supporting workflow-based systems in a regulated or complex environment
• Strong understanding of integrations and relational databases
• Experience working with cloud or SaaS platforms
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, consultative environment
Nice to Have
• Experience in a professional services or legal services environment
• Exposure to systems supporting intake, compliance, or risk-related workflows
Compensation
Estimated salary range: $140,000 – $190,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
