Engineering Lead (.NET, Azure, Kubernetes) London (Hybrid) £90k-£110k SaaS platform Roc Search have partnered with a small but high-growth SaaS business in London that's entering an exciting new chapter, and they're looking for an Engineering Lead who wants to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their platform. If you're currently a Senior .NET Engineer or Tech Lead with strong understanding of Azure and Kubernetes and ready to step further into strategic architecture and leadership, this is a standout opportunity. - Drive the technical direction as the platform evolves from Azure Service Fabric → Kubernetes - Work in a genuinely collaborative, small engineering team where your decisions have real impact - Blend leadership with hands-on engineering (around 40–50% coding) - Lead and develop a team of 4-5 engineers from day one, with room to scale as the company grows What you will be doing: • Design, lead, and improve the technical architecture of the companies Saas platform • Make decisions on tech stack, infrastructure, frameworks, and integration approaches • Collaborate closely with the Head of Platform to align architecture with roadmap priorities • Provide hands-on technical leadership – which involves writing code yourself, conducting reviews, and guiding decisions • Mentor and support a growing engineering team, ensuring high-quality delivery • Translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable systems • Focus on performance, reliability, and security at scale • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement They're looking for someone with the following: • Proven experience architecting and scaling B2B SaaS platforms • Strong full-stack technical expertise - especially across C#, JavaScript, and ideally React • Experience integrating with APIs and identity platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure - ideally Azure and Service Fabric/Kubernetes • Experience building Microservices/Azure functions • A collaborative mindset - comfortable working with cross functional stakeholders across product, engineering, and client delivery • Background in IAM or SSO is a bonus Salary: £90,000–£110,000 (DOE) Benefits: • 28 days holiday plus UK bank holidays • Day off on your birthday • Office shuts over Christmas time each year • Flexible hybrid working • Fun company and team outings – Summer and Christmas party • Generous private medical care and additional perks with Vitality • Refer a friend bonus • £500 WFH set up • Enhanced Pension plan • Enhanced parental policies • 4 weeks full sick pay • Birthday, Long Service and Christmas gifts • Cycle to work • LinkedIn Learning
