About the Company and Role
We are looking for a Ruby Developer to join a strong engineering team (currently 10 Backend Engineers). You will work on high-load services, complex data flows, and core backend components that directly impact trading performance and platform reliability.
Our client is a fast-growing international fintech and proprietary trading company, building a next-generation trading platform with a global user base. Operating in a fast-paced, zero-bureaucracy environment, the company integrates with multiple trading systems (REST/WebSockets APIs) and processes real-time financial data.
Tech Stack: Ruby on Rails, Sidekiq, PostgreSQL, RSpec, AWS.
Location: Dubai, UAE, full-time office role.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain backend services in Ruby;
• Work with large datasets and optimize system performance;
• Build and support integrations with trading platforms and APIs (MT4/MT5);
• Contribute to architecture decisions and infrastructure improvements;
• Ensure reliability through testing, monitoring, and CI/CD practices;
• Collaborate closely with backend, product, and trading teams.
What kind of qualifications we are looking for:
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer;
• Strong expertise in Ruby and OOP principles;
• Experience with high-load data processing;
• Experience with MT4/MT5 Manager API is a strong plus;
• Experience in trading platforms/trading industry is a big plus;
• Knowledge of infrastructure setup and maintenance;
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React) is a plus;
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments.
