AD IT Solution has a client in search of a talented Quality Assurance Automation Engineer.
Job Location: ANYWHERE IN USA (OPEN TO RELOCATE)
Job Duties:
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software quality and performance.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues in test management tools.
• Work closely with the development team to debug and resolve issues.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous testing methodologies.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Ensure compliance with software quality standards and best practices.
Requirements:
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Strong proficiency in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Solid understanding of SQL for database validation.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and testing in an Agile environment.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into test cases.
• Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.
Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will be able to:
• Quickly understand business processes and system functionality.
• Design and implement automated test scripts to validate business requirements.
• Identify key metrics for assessing test coverage and software quality.
• Act as an advisor to improve automation strategies and processes.
• Work closely with development and IT teams to ensure smooth test execution.
• Maintain and enhance automated testing frameworks and tools.
