The company is a spreadsheet-powered automation platform that uses advanced AI to streamline document workflows. Our main and most lucrative workflow lets teams pull documents from Google Drive, email, and other sources, extract structured data into spreadsheets, and send it to any connected system through our broad set of integrations. We focus on optimizing the user experience by making the setup as frictionless as possible and automating many steps of the workflow.
We are a small, talented team of self-starters located in the SoHo area of NYC. Each of us is highly motivated and energized by the complex challenges we tackle daily. Working side-by-side in one office, we all contribute to decisions at every level.
Our user base is growing fast and we’re in the process of scaling our operation accordingly. We’ve already proven product-market fit and are now building the systems and processes for the next phase, so anyone who joins now will have a direct, visible impact on how we grow.
We hire generalist engineers with a broad set of technical skills who are highly cross-functional and eager to solve a wide range of engineering challenges. Our ideal candidate has a strong sense of ownership and enjoys building projects from design doc to production. We value people who take pride in their work and show an aptitude for learning quickly, cherishing opportunities to dive into entirely new territory.
Familiarity with our specific tech stack isn’t required; if you’ve demonstrated the ability to solve complex technical problems in the past, we know you’ll ramp up fast here.
What You’ll Do
• Design and build new user-facing features end-to-end.
• Optimize and extend our document-ingestion and data-extraction pipelines for performance, reliability, and scale.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems.
• Instrument, monitor, and debug production services to keep latency low and uptime high.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and support to scope work, incorporate feedback, and iterate quickly.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain a high bar for quality and security.
• Help shape our engineering processes and tooling as we grow (CI/CD, release automation, developer environments).

Requirements
• Ability to pick up on new concepts quickly.
• Degree in a STEM field or 2+ years of full-time experience as a software engineer.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• React with Type Script
• GraphQL
• Node, Postgres, and Redis
Compensation Range: $100k – $200k, based on experience and qualification.
