Note: This is not a remote role.
A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly rate on W2 for this position is $70 to $75 with limited benefits.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in software development and testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation, API testing, performance testing, and cloud-based environments.
Key Qualifications:
• 9+ years of experience in the software development industry, working in collaborative team environments.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in UI automation using tools like Selenium WebDriver.
• 3+ years of experience testing web services such as RESTful APIs.
• 3+ years of experience in performance testing with tools like Apache JMeter.
• 2+ years of experience in cloud environments such as AWS.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (mandatory) and Java/C#.
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) environments.
Responsibilities:
• Create comprehensive end-to-end test plans, specifications, and templates.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts; document and report results effectively.
• Facilitate defect tracking and provide detailed test result summaries.
• Review requirements from Functional Specifications, User Stories, or Change Requests.
• Identify test data requirements and prepare automation-ready test cases.
• Participate in system testing, regression testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Manage and prioritize defects from detection to resolution.
• Apply best practices for test case design and ensure high-quality test coverage.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong Python programming expertise
Solid experience with automation and performance testing tools
