Senior Exchange Connectivity Engineer - London 💰 Salary: £95,000 - 105,000 per year

📝 Rquirements:
- 3-5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience integrating with crypto exchanges.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (HTTP, WebSocket, TCP, TLS).
- Proficiency in Rust or a strong C++ background with exposure to Rust.
- Working knowledge of Typescript.
- Experience with Web3 / DeFi protocols (nice to have).
- Leadership or mentoring experience (nice to have).
- Familiarity with traditional finance connectivity protocols (ITCH / OUCH / UDP Multicast) (nice to have).
👩💻👨💻 Your responsibilities are:
- Design and implement exchange connectivity modules (REST, WebSocket, FIX, proprietary APIs).
- Optimize order entry, market data ingestion, and account management for performance and reliability.
- Contribute to a fault-tolerant, scalable connectivity framework using Rust and Typescript.
- Collaborate with trading, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver high-quality integrations.
- Monitor, debug, and continuously improve production systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and help shape engineering best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations and occasional travel as needed.
