Position Overview

We are seeking an Offensive Cyber Security Engineer to proactively identify vulnerabilities through penetration testing and red team exercises, collaborate with defense teams, and help redefine our offensive security strategies. Key Responsibilities
• Conduct proactive penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and red team exercises to identify and mitigate security threats.
• Collaborate with defense teams by providing detailed feedback and recommendations based on findings.
• Develop and refine offensive security strategies, tools, and methodologies to stay ahead of adversaries.
• Participate in the creation of security awareness programs and training to bolster our human firewall.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and tools.
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in offensive security roles with hands-on expertise in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and ethical hacking.
• In-depth knowledge of network security protocols, cryptography, payloads, and exploit development.
• Familiarity with security tools and software such as Metasploit, Nmap, and Burp Suite.
• Strong understanding of operating systems, database security, and application security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively about challenging cybersecurity scenarios.
• Ability to communicate technical vulnerabilities and risks to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or GPEN.
• Experience with scripting languages to automate tasks and develop custom exploits.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and experience conducting assessments in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with integrating security into the development lifecycle and DevOps practices.
• Previous experience in a similar cybersecurity environment.

• Base Salary: $130,000—$180,000 USD
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status is required to comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations.
