S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in? We are looking for a knowledgeable summer student to join our team as a Quality Assurance Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and wants to gain valuable work experience.
• *As a Quality Assurance Assistant, you will**
- Work with team to create and update quality improvement action plans
- Assist capturing lessons learned to train the internal quality and operations team on customer specific requirements
- Assist in creating process control plans and Standard Work Instructions
- Work with the team to help implement Quality System Software
- Contribute to the culture of Continuous Improvement
- Support identifying Identify wastes and implement process improvements
- Implement improvement actions by supporting the change in the teams Other duties as assigned
• *Who are we looking for? Someone who**
- Is currently enrolled in a post secondary institution (diploma or degree program)
- Has strong mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Is detail oriented
- Has good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with mínimal supervision Able to lift up to 40 lbs
