Our client, a growing financial services firm, is growing their development team. They are looking for someone FULLY ON-SITE IN MELVILLE, NY. You will be working or building out their portal that is used internally and for clients. The tech stack is Java, Node, TypeScript, React and some APEX for SalesForce integration.
Must Have Qualifications:
• 3+ years of professional experience in software development using object-oriented programming languages such as Java or .NET, or any other.
• Proficiency in frontend development using JavaScript or any framework (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• SQL databases and proficiency in writing queries.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, design patterns, and principles.
Plusses:
• IT support skills
• Any exposure to integrating LLM's into the workflow
Responsibilities:
- Develop / maintain software applications using object-oriented programming languages (Java/C#.)
- Develop / implement / improve frontend components using JavaScript, React, Angular or Vue.js.
- Develop SQL database schemas, write solid queries, and ensure data integrity as well as security.
