Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies for firmware, BIOS/UEFI, and ARM-based platforms.
• Lead QA efforts across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with product and engineering goals.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and software teams to ensure thorough validation.
• Drive security testing initiatives including vulnerability assessments, secure boot validation, and firmware integrity checks.
• Should have knowledge of x86 and ARM architectures to design and execute low-level system tests.
• Oversee test planning, automation, execution, defect tracking, and reporting using industry-standard tools.
• Conduct data mining and analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for quality improvement.
• Evaluate testing outcomes and ROI to drive strategic decisions and process enhancements.
• Build and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in QA, including Firmware/BIOS/UEFI testing, ARM/x86 systems, and Engineering Management.
• Proven experience in creating and executing testing strategies for BIOS/UEFI testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with security testing in firmware environments.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate ROI, drive improvements, and lead change initiatives.
• Proficiency in using tools for test automation, debugging, and performance analysis.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems.
