Automation QA Lead

This role:
• The role will help define and evangelize the CEI Agentic AI and Automation QA Strategy, Best Practices, and Framework
• This role will be accountable for ensuring that QA best practices are followed and adopted
• This role will help perform QA / Testing for more complicated / complex automations that require more extensive testing above a general baseline
• This role will partner with our delivery teams to provide feedback on testing
• This role will provide coaching on testing and best practices
For this role, we are seeking a resource with previous experience in guiding testing for UiPath Automations, who can own the QA space and help to define and enforce best practices to help provide more reliable and stable solutions to our customers.
Primary Responsibilities
• Advise on and coach teams in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and testing best practices
• Define and influence the department-level testing strategy and framework, including automation considerations
• Partner with the RT to define mechanisms for capturing, managing, and storing test information
• Collaborate on validating testing or performer stories
• Provide coaching and feedback to delivery teams on quality and testing practices
• Collaborate with the RT during Sprint 0 to define test plans and test cases
• Set up, configure, and manage Test Manager
Out-of-Scope Responsibilities
• Not the primary resource for executing day-to-day testing activities
• Not responsible for conducting tests except in cases where solution complexity requires QA-led testing
• Not responsible for writing test scripts; this remains a developer responsibility
• Assignment of QA-led testing will be based on solution complexity, not assumed by default
Desired Skills and Experience
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Ability to influence teams and drive expected quality behaviors
• Experience with UiPath development and testing
• Experience working with Test Manager
• Strong background in general quality assurance and software testing best practices
• Experience operating within an agile delivery environment
Additional Considerations
• Testing complexity should be assessed during Sprint 0 and determined by the Technical Delivery Lead
• The test strategy should consistently reflect established testing standards and best practices across initiatives
