Key Responsibilities:
To assist in the below-
• Conduct research on applicable mandatory and voluntary safety standards to ensure product compliance.
• Develop and implement product safety and performance requirements to maintain quality benchmarks.
• Perform risk analysis to identify potential safety concerns and ensure mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate third-party testing to verify product safety and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze consumer complaint trends, conduct root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee Supplier Quality Management Systems Audits to ensure vendors meet quality expectations and are current on all audits.
• Attend annual JPMA/CPSC meetings to stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
• Ensure that all tests and procedures are properly understood, executed, and evaluated, implementing modifications when necessary.
• Monitor product performance by gathering relevant data and generating statistical reports for quality assessment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• * Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Background/experience handling regulatory compliance and safety testing.
• Home Category – Textile background is a plus
