Resource 1 is excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior AI Engineer to join our client in the Healthcare industry on a long-term contract. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the US. Initially set for 6 months, there is strong potential for contract extensions. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and enhance large-scale multi-agent systems by utilizing cutting-edge LLMs and autonomous agent frameworks, employing tools such as Google ADK, Agentspace, MCP, RAG, and A2A orchestration. • Contribute to the design and implementation of RAG pipelines with BigQuery and Vertex AI to ensure accuracy and knowledge grounding. • Implement and optimize workflows for agent reasoning encompassing orchestration, grounding, decision-making, and multi-step reasoning. • Build and maintain distributed training workflows, online inference systems, and low-latency serving architectures utilizing Google Cloud services. • Develop secure and scalable AI components, including reusable orchestration layers, connectors, and observability hooks. • Engage in the development of governance and compliance frameworks for agents that meet enterprise standards. • Translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks and actively engage in solution design discussions. • Support deployment pipelines and ensure operational monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of production AI systems. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related technical field. • Demonstrable experience in Generative AI and agentic AI development. • A minimum of 4-5 years in AI/ML engineering or applied machine learning. • Proven experience in building and deploying production AI/ML systems. • Strong understanding of modern model architectures, such as transformers, embeddings, and prompt engineering. • Hands-on expertise with Vertex AI (training, pipelines, deployment, orchestration, and monitoring) along with Google Cloud native AI services. • Familiarity with one or more agent frameworks (e.g., Google ADK, Agentspace, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or AutoGen). • Proficient in Python and LLM integration, including MCP and A2A orchestration. • Experience working with Kubernetes, Cloud Run, Dataflow, or Pub/Sub. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with AI observability, responsible AI frameworks, and model monitoring tools such as Vertex AI Monitoring and BigQuery logging. • Knowledge of multi-modal models and advanced optimization strategies. • Contributions to open-source AI projects or published applied research.
