About the Roles
We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager (Construction / Facade Projects) to join a reputable Building and Construction firm based in Redhill. This is a permanent position offering a 5-day work week (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 6:00 pm) with an attractive basic salary, AWS, and variable bonus. The role provides an excellent opportunity to lead quality management initiatives and ensure project excellence in façade and structural construction works.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead and guide a team of QA/QC engineers to achieve quality objectives across all project stages.
• Develop, review, and maintain quality documentation such as Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Project Quality Plans (PQP), and Operation & Maintenance Manuals (OMM).
• Conduct inspections, checks, and audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and quality representatives to resolve quality issues effectively.
• Prepare comprehensive quality reports and recommend improvement measures for continuous enhancement.
• Investigate non-conformances, propose corrective and preventive actions, and ensure timely closure of NCRs.
• Coordinate with independent inspection and testing agencies for factory and site inspections.
• Identify and manage non-conforming materials or equipment to maintain quality integrity.
• Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
• Participate in client audits and ensure quality systems are properly implemented and maintained.
• Support QA/QC teams during inspection and testing activities when needed.
• Liaise with RE/RTO and other relevant parties during inspection and handover of façade and steel installations.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Managing Director.
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
• Proven experience working with contractors in the building or civil construction sector.
• Hands-on experience in façade installation projects will be highly advantageous.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage and motivate a QA/QC team.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Adaptable, team-oriented, and able to perform in a dynamic project environment.
