We are seeking a QA Field Inspector on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Chicago, IL.
The contractor will undergo training and must successfully pass the client's observation and evaluation while performing an inspection.
Responsibilities
Conduct inspections of customer orders by scanning and verifying pallet items prior to stowing
Document discrepancies using photo evidence and variance classifications
Complete detailed post-inspection reports
Identify insights to support process improvements and operational efficiency
Follow documented SOPs strictly during inventory quality inspections
Upload inspection results promptly for review
Respond to follow-up questions from internal teams and clients
Work flexible retail schedules outside standard business hours
Travel to client locations as required by air or ground transportation
Skills And Qualifications
0-2 years of relevant experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Ability to follow standardized processes accurately and consistently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to meet strict timelines and deadlines
Flexibility to work non-traditional schedules
Willingness to travel as required, including proximity to a major airport for air travel
