We are seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. You will play a key role in defining test strategies, validating complex data flows, testing APIs and mobile applications, and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
This role is ideal for a hands-on QA professional with strong SQL, API, and mobile testing expertise, and a structured approach to test design and defect management.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, write, and execute manual test cases based on functional and technical requirements
• Perform database testing by writing and validating SQL queries
• Test mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms, including UI/UX validation
• Conduct API testing (functional, negative, and integration testing)
• Validate API responses, data integrity, and error handling
• Use API mocking tools to support independent testing and scenario simulation
• Log, track, and manage defects using bug-tracking tools
• Maintain test documentation (test cases, test plans, test reports)
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams during the SDLC
• Contribute to test strategy improvements and QA best practices
• (Nice to have) Participate in or support API test automation
Requirements & Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Strong knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience testing databases
• Proven experience in mobile application testing (iOS & Android)
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX testing principles
• Hands-on experience with API testing (RESTful services)
• Experience using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar
• Familiarity with API mocking tools (e.g., WireMock, Mockoon, Postman Mock Server)
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
• (Preferred) Experience automating API tests using any framework or tool
