We are seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. You will play a key role in defining test strategies, validating complex data flows, testing APIs and mobile applications, and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software. This role is ideal for a hands-on QA professional with strong SQL, API, and mobile testing expertise, and a structured approach to test design and defect management.
Key Responsibilities Design, write, and execute manual test cases based on functional and technical requirements Perform database testing by writing and validating SQL queries Test mobile applications on i OS and Android platforms, including UI/UX validation Conduct API testing (functional, negative, and integration testing) Validate API responses, data integrity, and error handling Use API mocking tools to support independent testing and scenario simulation Log, track, and manage defects using bug-tracking tools Maintain test documentation (test cases, test plans, test reports) Collaborate with developers, product owners, and Dev Ops teams during the SDLCContribute to test strategy improvements and QA best practices(Nice to have) Participate in or support API test automation
Requirements & Qualifications3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance Strong knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience testing databases Proven experience in mobile application testing (i OS & Android) Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX testing principles Hands-on experience with API testing (RESTful services) Experience using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar Familiarity with API mocking tools (e.g., Wire Mock, Mockoon, Postman Mock Server) Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Test Rail) Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams(Preferred) Experience automating API tests using any framework or tool
