Responsibilities:
• Manage the full spectrum of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities within the organization.
• Oversee equipment buy-off requirements, including Internal Buy-Off (IBO) and Customer Buy-Off (CBO).
• Handle internal and external Corrective Action Requests (CARs), ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
• Review, maintain, and update QA processes, systems, and operational workflows.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to exceed basic compliance standards.
• Monitor and optimize quality performance throughout the supply chain.
• Plan and conduct supplier quality audits, including qualification and re-certification of vendors.
• Support supply chain development through effective quality management practices.
• Prepare and compile weekly and monthly QA performance reports.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of QA-related experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of metrology tools with the ability to teach (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height & Depth Gauge, Profile Projector, Gauge Block, and Smart Scope).
• Proficient in problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D discipline, FMEA, QC tools).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail with a strong focus on documentation and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in driving quality improvement programs.
• Effective team player with collaborative skills.
