QA Engineer – FX/Foreign Exchange | Fintech | Fully Remote (UK) | £60,000–£65,000
About the Role
Our client, a rapidly scaling Fintech, is transforming the way money moves across global markets. Quality is at the heart of everything they do, and as a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring their products remain robust, secure, and seamless, particularly within Foreign Exchange (FX) systems.
You’ll be part of a collaborative full-stack product team—including product managers, designers, engineers, test engineers, and subject-matter experts—helping shape the testing strategy and delivering high-quality solutions that support their rapid growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Driving quality from initial concept through to final product release
• Creating detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases
• Building, maintaining, and improving automated testing frameworks using Cypress and Selenium
• Expanding and strengthening automated regression test coverage
• Identifying, reporting, and collaborating with the team to resolve defects
• Contributing to architectural discussions with a focus on testability and scalability
• Monitoring and reporting key QA metrics
• Staying ahead of industry trends, tools, and testing strategies
• Leveraging AI tools to enhance test planning, documentation, and analysis
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience with Foreign Exchange (FX) systems
• Hands-on experience with Cypress and Selenium
• Strong JavaScript programming skills
• Solid SQL knowledge
• Experience working in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
• Strong grasp of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Understanding of both white-box and black-box testing techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, quality-driven mindset with high levels of honesty and integrity
