Your role as a Software Engineering Manager will involve steering multidisciplinary teams through comprehensive software delivery processes, from designing architecture to hands-on problem-solving and mentoring. What You'll Do • Guide and empower software engineering teams to craft scalable, secure, and high-performing systems. • Collaborate with clients to identify their challenges, formulate technical strategies, and achieve successful project outcomes. • Establish engineering standards and supervise the application of DevOps practices, CI/CD, IaC, and cloud solutions. • Champion best practices in software design including event-driven architectures, secure coding, automated testing, and continuous improvement. • Work collaboratively across various disciplines to merge technical excellence with business goals. • Contribute to proposals and pre-sales efforts, delivering credible technical insights and effectively presenting solutions to clients. What You'll Bring • At least 5 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management capacity. • Diverse experience in C#, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript, along with frameworks such as .NET, Spring Boot, React, Angular, Node, or Vue. • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep). • A proven history of enhancing delivery processes across development, testing, deployment, and operations. • Excellent client-facing skills with a focus on collaboration and achieving results. • Familiarity with modern engineering and DevOps methodologies within complex project settings. • Eligibility for SC Clearance (minimum 5 years of continuous UK residency).
