Our client, a respected organization in the marine/logistics industry, is seeking a contract Purchaser to manage day-to-day procurement operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on ERP experience and support key supply chain activities. You will step in to oversee the full procurement lifecycle, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchase of goods and services while maintaining compliance with company standards and procedures. This role is located in Vancouver, BC.Key Responsibilities:Source, negotiate, and purchase goods and services in compliance with company policies.Oversee the full purchase-to-pay cycle: reconcile receipts, manage orders, and ensure materials are accurately tracked within the current ERP system.Monitor PO approval flows and collaborate with technical teams to fulfill maintenance and service requirements.Maintain optimal inventory levels and manage Just-In-Time (JIT) points for recurring material needs.
