Position: Project Manager – Crew Management - Airline Operations Software

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex software implementation projects within the airline operations domain. This role involves managing end-to-end project activities for solutions such as crew management, flight operations, and planning systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise software delivery, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a solid understanding of airline operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage full project lifecycle for airline operations software implementations, from initiation through closure
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope
• Engage with airline customers to gather requirements, define project scope, and align deliverables with business objectives
• Oversee system integrations, including crew management systems and other operational software
• Lead project communication efforts, preparing status reports and facilitating stakeholder meetings
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution
• Coordinate with internal teams (Product, Development, Support) and external partners to ensure successful project execution
• Contribute to RFI/RFP processes, including proposal development and customer presentations
• Support change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes by customer organizations
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project engagement
• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory requirements relevant to airline operations
Requirements:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred
• Minimum 7 years of experience managing enterprise software implementation projects, ideally in airline operations or aviation software
• Familiarity with airline operational domains such as crew scheduling, flight operations, or planning systems
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, etc.)
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communicator with experience working with C-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, and related software
• Ability to travel as needed for project activities and customer engagements
