What you'll do: • Lead Product Security Engineering and Software Security initiatives including Bug Bounty, Vulnerability Management, and core Product/Application Security management tasks. • Oversee a small security team with plans for expansion. • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure smooth product launches. • Work closely with engineers to identify and mitigate security risks while supporting fast-paced development. • Engage in threat modeling, promote security integration early in development, build security tooling, and automate security processes. • Conduct reviews of code designs and pull requests, emphasizing Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) principles. Does this sound like you? • 8+ years of experience in Application or Product Security Engineering roles. • Proven leadership experience, capable of influencing and building a cohesive team, even if small. • Demonstrated success in establishing and scaling a Product Security program. • Enthusiastic about incorporating security into product delivery without hindering progress. • A genuine passion for security and technology, with bonus points for a Software Engineering background. • Position at the level of Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Manager, offering a competitive base salary up to $350K plus equity.* • This is a direct-hire, permanent role located in San Francisco, New York City, or Seattle.* Excited to learn more about this opportunity?
