Product Engineer, AI Automation Systems

About The Role
As a Product Engineer, you will work at the intersection of product vision, engineering execution, and data driven decision making. This position suits someone who enjoys taking on varied challenges, who moves comfortably between technical design, system architecture, and iterative experimentation. You will shape core components of our platform and influence both near term results and long term technical direction.
Over time, you will guide an entire domain from end to end. You will define strategy, build and maintain the roadmap, and lead engineering efforts that support meaningful product outcomes.
Responsibilities
• Design, build, and launch AI powered systems that streamline and automate operational workflows across intake, charting, and revenue cycle tasks.
• Work closely with Product partners and engineering peers to convert complex operational needs into resilient and scalable technical solutions.
• Prototype ideas quickly and refine them through live feedback. Focus on real impact rather than lengthy specification cycles.
• Instrument and observe production systems. Track accuracy, latency, throughput, and related measures to guide continuous improvement.
• Embed quality, reliability, and privacy protections into every layer of the system. Include observability, auditability, and safeguards that align with healthcare grade data requirements.
• Contribute to shared architectural foundations that support expansion across multiple operational domains.
Qualifications
• Three to five years of software or product engineering experience in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Strong background in backend or full stack engineering with experience in API design, data modeling, and system architecture. Familiarity with cloud platforms is expected.
• Clear record of driving initiatives from concept to completion while making thoughtful tradeoffs that support business goals.
• Ability to communicate with clarity, collaborate effectively, and work closely with cross functional partners.
• Comfort turning ambiguous requirements into systems that are reliable, observable, and ready to scale. Strong attention to monitoring, performance analysis, and privacy by design, including the protection of sensitive health information.
• Experience working with AI, automation, or data driven products and a track record of converting model outputs into dependable production workflows.
Preferred Experience
• Background in healthcare technology, workflow automation, or other environments that handle significant process depth.
• Familiarity with human in the loop frameworks or feedback cycles that combine automation with expert review.
• Exposure to modern development practices such as Agile or Scrum.
