NotaryLive is seeking a mid-level Product Designer to own day-to-day UX and product design execution across our core platform. This role is ideal for a designer who can work independently, think critically about workflows, and execute designs end-to-end while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Leadership on higher-level decisions.
You will be responsible for translating product requirements into intuitive, compliant, and scalable user experiences—balancing usability, speed, and regulatory constraints.
Responsibilities
• Own UX design for product features and workflows from concept through release
• Design end-to-end user flows for complex, multi-step experiences
• Proactively identify UX issues and propose thoughtful improvements
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure accurate and feasible implementation
• Maintain consistency across product UX patterns and interaction standards
• Participate in product discussions and provide UX input early in the process
• Escalate only complex, ambiguous, or cross-product design decisions
Requirements
• 3–5 years of experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer
• Proven experience owning features or workflows end-to-end
• Strong understanding of UX principles, usability, and user behavior
• Ability to clearly articulate and defend design decisions
• Comfort working in complex, regulated, or high-stakes products (fintech, LegalTech, healthcare, or similar environments are a plus)
Nice to Have
• Experience designing B2B or multi-user platforms
• Experience with trust-, identity-, or compliance-sensitive workflows
• Familiarity with design systems (using, maintaining, or contributing)
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering in fast-moving teams
