The Role
cocokind is looking for a Product Commercialization Project Manager to help drive flawless new product launches and change control across our omni-channel business. In this role, you will own end-to-end execution of new product launches across retail/wholesale and digital channels, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional partners stay aligned from product development handoff through launch and post-launch optimization. You will also serve as the central “air traffic controller” for in-market product changes, keeping internal teams marching towards goals. This role partners closely with our Product Development and Operations teams, acting as the connective tissue between technical execution and commercial readiness. It requires a highly organized, hands-on approach with strong cross-functional leadership and a bias toward action.
This role will report to our SVP of Finance and Operations, Carol Chan. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, with in-office presence required at least two days a week.
What You’ll Do
• Own go-to-market execution and launch readiness across retail/wholesale and digital channels, partnering with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market on time.
• Coordinate product readiness across functions, including Product Development, Operations, Creative, Brand, and Customer Experience, to ensure launches are fully supported operationally and commercially.
• Lead cross-functional launch meetings and manage timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to keep Product Development and Operations in lockstep, removing friction and addressing risks early to deliver high-quality launches with speed and consistency.
• Build and manage timelines associated with existing product changes, including key milestones for the Product Development and Operations teams needed to deliver the best product possible to our customers.
• Drive timelines for issue investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions, ensuring momentum, accountability, and clear status updates across teams.
• Create and improve launch and change-management tools, trackers, and processes that scale with a growing omni-channel business, improving clarity, efficiency, and execution over time.
Who You Are
• 5+ years of experience in product launch management, commercialization, product operations, project management, or related roles (beauty/CPG preferred).
• Experience supporting omni-channel launches with a strong emphasis on retail/wholesale timelines, requirements, and cross-functional coordination.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and hard deadlines.
• Experience triaging and coordinating responses to product issues, escalations, or customer complaint trends (quality, CX, ops, or equivalent).
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize information quickly and align teams in fast-moving situations.
• Comfortable managing complex, technical workflows without owning hands-on execution, and skilled at translating between technical and non-technical partners such as Brand, Sales, Ops, CX, Product Development, and external partners.
• Strong bias toward action and judgment around prioritization, escalation, and tradeoffs in fast-moving environments.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and project management tools; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
• Highly proactive, solutions-oriented, and calm under pressure, with interest in growing into broader responsibility over time.
