+15 years of experience in the Canadian Defence & Military Market, or National Security Agencies. - +15 years of experience in building go to market strategies - +15 years of relevant work experience in technology enabled consultative, solutions development, product management, product marketing, business development, and/or transformation roles. - Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required or work equivalent Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) is looking for an accomplished Senior Account Manager (AM) in Canada Public Sector team to drive growth strategies for Government of Canada Public Safety and National Security Agencies across Canada. As Senior Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of within Canada and help exceed annual goals. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the sales management team of Canada along with partner teams and the solutions team to build go to market strategies focusing on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration within this customer segment. You will work with the several stakeholder teams supporting Canada Sales, the Partner (APN), Solution, Business Development, Marketing, and Professional Services. Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Contributes to the strategic development of features and functionality that maximize revenue from partner/customer agreements. Works with business leaders from product groups to explore market data to identify trends/opportunities, utilizes extensive relationships within industry to gather market intelligence, and executes on business development opportunities. Syncs often with business development organizations across Amazon to share information and drive consistency with partners. - Engage with the Sales Management team, the Partner Development Managers responsible of the Partner, and multiple stakeholder such as System Integrator and Solutions team to define and execute the AM sales plan & strategic programs and initiatives. - Work with the field based Partner Sales Leaders & Management to support enable sales teams and Partners to exceed revenue and partner targets. - Managing internal communications and overall performance reporting cadence. - Support the evolution, integration, and implementation of sales systems/processes to meet the rapid growth of the business and its revenue attainment and market development. - Develop and execute on segment specific sales & marketing efforts with strategic partnerships (ISV, SI & Defence Contractors). - Travel: 25% of the time (approx.) Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Relevant technical knowledge is helpful, such as: systems, virtualization, storage, software defined networking, etc. with ability to go deep enough on relevant technologies key to the industry. - Education: an MBA; technical background with Computer Science, and/or Engineering/Math background; working knowledge of software development practices and data center / infrastructure / networking technologies is desired. - Having a Global Perspective of the NatSec market. - Excellent understanding of the Canadian National Security Landscape. - Bilingual would be an asset, but not essential.
