We are seeking an experienced Presales & Design Engineer (ELV) to handle ELV system design, BOQs, cost estimation, and technical presales support. The role involves close coordination with sales teams, clients, consultants, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, quotations, and cost estimates
• Conduct site surveys and client technical presentations when required
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support
• Attend pre-bid and post-bid meetings
• Design ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA, Structured Cabling (Cat 6 & Fiber), BMS, Intercom, AV
• Prepare AutoCAD layouts, shop drawings, and as-built drawings
• Perform power load calculations and energy estimates
• Ensure compliance with SIRA, ADMCC, Civil Defense, BICSI, standards
• Prepare technical submittals, datasheets, and RFIs
• Coordinate with consultants, MEP teams, contractors, and vendors
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering
• 3–5 years ELV presales or design experience (UAE/GCC preferred)
• Strong knowledge of ELV systems design and integration
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
• Experience in BOQ preparation and estimation
• ADmcc / SIRA certification preferred (BICSI/PMP is a plus)
• Excellent English communication
• UAE driving license preferred
