As the Principal Applied Scientist on Amazon's ESI team, you'll apply AI to solve real-world business problems impacting Amazon's fastest-growing segment. You'll build AI systems serving millions of business customers, combining novel AI research with immediate business impact.
This role is ideal for experienced scientists seeking to establish AI leadership in B2B procurement. You'll tackle intrinsically complex scientific problems by leveraging machine learning algorithms, innovating and setting standards for scientific excellence.

Qualifications:
• PhD in Electrical Engineering Computer Science Mathematics or related field
• 5+ years hands-on work predictive modeling analysis experience
• Experience working predictive modeling analysis
• Experience distilling informal customer requirements problem definitions dealing ambiguity competing objectives
• Experience programming Java C++ Python related language
• Experience leading experienced scientists junior members academia industry career track business environment
