Job Description:
This is a full time role for an Secretary (cum Interpreter) located in IMM Building.
This role provides comprehensive administrative, communication, and coordination support to the Director and serves as a key liaison between the Singapore office and the Japan Headquarters. The position involves managing business correspondence, schedules, meetings, and confidential documentation in both English and Japanese. You will coordinate cross-departmental activities, prepare reports, and ensure smooth information flow across teams.
• The role also includes full expatriate support, covering relocation, onboarding, visa processes, housing arrangements, and day-to-day assistance for Japan-based employees. You will act as the main point of contact for expatriates, ensuring they receive professional guidance and support throughout their assignment.
• Overall, this position requires strong organisational skills, bilingual communication ability, cultural understanding, and the capability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
Qualifications:
• Min. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management, or a related field
• Min. 2-3 years of relevant experience in an administrative or secretarial role (experience in a Japanese company is an advantage)
• Skilled in interpretation, with advanced proficiency in English and Business Japanese (JLPT N1 or above preferred)
