We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer III to join our team. This role involves test automation with agile and waterfall teams for core application projects that impact our customers. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to ensure automated testing is completed with proper coverage for all requirements.
The key responsibilities include:
• Designing tests: Writing automation test scripts using an object-oriented Ruby Cucumber framework for multiple applications like Web-based, Web services, and Database. Contributing to extending the existing framework.
• Test Execution & Reporting: Executing tests as needed during the project. Analyzing and reporting test results. Identifying and tracking defects through their lifecycle. Utilizing defect management and organization skills, providing progress and metrics on test execution and defects to the project team.
• Subject Matter Expert: Developing and maintaining expert understanding of all components and functionality of the system and framework. Providing guidance, mentoring, and training on testing practices and advising on impacts for system changes.
• Business Communications: Demonstrating foundational knowledge of credit card operations, banking, financial, loyalty rewards, and credit card regulatory while working with various areas of the business. Demonstrating leadership by driving the automated testing of projects and collaborating with stakeholders in understanding the testing needs and reporting on testing results.
