Your impact We are seeking a motivated intern to join our Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Design & Integration team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to critical infrastructures industries – Including Water utilities, data centers, and transportation systems – where cybersecurity plays in vital role in ensuring safety, resilience and compliance. Responsibilities As an Intern within our team, you will work alongside highly experienced consultants and technical experts to support projects such as • Design Research and Documentation – Work with the Design Team Lead and members to pull together and document research important to the design process regarding existing environment conditions (Brownfield) and new design options (Greenfield) as directed. • Visio Diagram and Spreadsheet Development – Assist in developing Visio diagrams of network topologies and process flows. Assist in the development of spreadsheets to capture data for the design process and potential final documentation. • Engineering Assistance – Support efforts of Engineering in the design process as necessary to facilitate development and in industrial control systems (ICS) and OT networks. Assist in Functional and Detail Design documentation and the documents that support them. • Implementation Support – Participate in the implementation and integration of systems at the direction of the Engineers. Efforts include inventory inspection, assembly and racking of equipment, cabling and labelling, and configuration at the direction of the Engineer. • Cross-functional projects – Assist other groups with client-focused solutions that integrate cybersecurity consulting with network design, engineering and digital technologies Here's what you'll need • Analytical thinking and attention to detail • Strong written skills and verbal communication • Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments • Curiosity and willingness to tackle complex challenges • Enthusiastic about OT & critical infrastructure protection • Skills with Microsoft 365 Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Good organizational skills & teamwork • Familiarity with some cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, IEC 62443) Preferred • Understanding of Network technologies is a plus • Knowledge of ICS/OT environments (SCADA, PLCs, industrial networks) is a plus • Experience in cybersecurity competitions (e.g., Capture the Flag) or case challenges is an asset • Skills with Microsoft Visio & Project is a plus. The base salary range for this position is $58,000.00 to $60,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
