The role of VP Business Development is to develop the go-to-market strategy for Client's Switching Division, leveraging early success and establishing a sales/business development team. This entrepreneurial sales leader must be able to articulate the value proposition to technical buyers, understand industry and market changes, and drive revenue growth through strategic planning and execution. This senior manager will lead the establishment of a strong working relationship with the corporate office, embracing support and guidance from functional operations. They will drive revenue growth by developing a comprehensive business plan, managing ongoing sales activity, and enhancing existing sales processes. Additionally, they will provide leadership in securing new customers and strategic partners, nurture relationships, and foster an environment of collaboration, innovation, and co-operation.
