Product Manager (Data Center)
Nationality: Any
• Work Schedule : Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a half an hour lunch break
Infrastructure Components
• Server / Compute Node
• High-performance rack server chassis with dual CPU, large memory capacity.
• Storage Drive / Array
• Enterprise NVMe SSDs or SAS SSDs / storage arrays for large capacity.
• Network Switch
• 10/25/40/100 GbE switch for data center traffic.
• Router / Edge Gateway
• Router to connect to upstream networks or cloud providers.
• Power Supply / UPS
• UPS system sized for expected load with redundancy (e.g., N+1).
• Power Distribution Unit (PDU)
• Rack-mounted PDU with monitoring, metering, and remote power cycling.
• Transformer / Main Distribution Panel
• Converts incoming utility voltage to usable facility voltage.
• Cooling Unit (CRAC/CRAH)
• Precision cooling system to maintain temperature/humidity in the server room.
• Hot-Aisle / Cold-Aisle Containment
• Physical containment to separate hot exhaust from cold intake to improve cooling efficiency.
• Racks / Cabinets
• Heavy-duty racks rated for full server load, with ventilation and cable access.
• Fire Suppression System
• Inert gas or other fire suppression system tailored for IT equipment environments.
• Access Control & Security
• Biometric locks, CCTV, and environmental sensors for physical security.
• Monitoring / DCIM Software
• Software suite to monitor power usage, UPS health, cooling, and capacity planning.
Education Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or specialized certification in Data Center Technologies is an advantage.
